My "little" man...
I use the term "little" loosely because he is so much bigger than Elise was!
Isaac's 2 month stats:
14 lbs 9 oz, 24.5"
Elise's 2 month stats:
10 lbs 1 oz, 22.5"
This is from this morning... Isaac was watching Elise and Mommy eating breakfast. He was looking at the light and laughing... but he got all serious as soon as I brought out the camera *sigh* one of these days I will catch his smile/laugh on camera!
This is from Tuesday night (Feb.24)... we were base coating her piggie that she got from Aunt Holly. I will post pics of the piggie once we finish it!
Can you guess what colour she chose to paint her pig?
This pic is from Tuesday morning.. she was missing Daddy and wanted to send him a picture.
These are a few pics from this morning during breakfast... she was being sweet.

Good French, NO?
Okay, so there is no need to make fun of my attrocious attempt at speaking French... but instead focus on the fact the Elise actually knows what I'm saying!

The Return of the BOOGIE BUSTER!
In the previous episode:
Miss Elise was seriously stuffed up. Her Mommy brought out the boogie buster to help clear out her nose. It did not go well. Elise HATES the Boogie Buster, and vows to hide it where it will never be found again... if given the chance. She lies in waiting, hoping to get her hands on it.
Todays episode:
Mr Isaac is somewhat congested. He has a giant boogie in his nose that requires immediate removal. So, once again, Mommy brings out the Boogie Buster. She is careful to keep it hidden from view.
Mommy holds Isaac close and begins to boogie bust. Isaac also does not enjoy the feeling of having boogies sucked out of his nose, and he starts wailing. At this point Miss Elise looks up from her book... she sees the Boogie Buster and a look of horror, disgust and anger cross her face. She jumps to her feet and shouts, "Igees! Igees!" and comes running to save her brother.
But alas, Mommy had already gotten the boogie. The Boogie Buster lives too see another day... but for how much longer can it continue to evade the brave crusader, Miss Elise?
Stay tuned as the saga continues.

a crushing defeat, a surprising twist
Isaac found his hands yesterday. Since he found then, he hasnt been able to keep them out of his mouth. He also is looking more and more like the pillsbury doughboy...lol
Hopefully we have discovered the cure for Isaac's colic. Apparently making a static noise in Isaac's ear is his weakness. You make that sound in his ear and he sleeps like a ...well like a baby ..
Elise loved the hockey game last night, too bad they lost. Her fave part was the 'boni' (zamboni). Most people can't wait for the game to start, she can't wait for it to be over, so the boni comes...

Well, Isaac's tears are officially in. Breaks my heart to see those big tears rolling down his cheeks.
In happier news... he is smiling so easy now. Love that when he hears me talking he smiles and looks for me. I love when they start to learn new things. He is working out how to control those things at the end of his arms.
Miss Elise has started to tell when she is being a good girl... so cute.
This morning Elise was insisting on pancakes (we always keep some in the freezer), so pancakes it was. Then she only had a few bites... and wanted all of my green Froot Loops. No other colour would do. Just green.

We have to start somewhere right?
Okay... so I have to start somewhere right? I had good intentions of starting on January 1st... but things were still to busy... and I just plain forgot. So I'm starting in mid February instead! LOL
Update on us:
Miss Elise is doing well... she is as funny as ever. She is learning her ABC's and doing a great job so far. Today we started learning to count in French.... she does quite well in English already, even if she is quick to jump to nine :)
Here's my sassy little girl.... she is 20 months in this picture.
Mr Isaac is doing pretty good too... the crying has gotten a bit better over the last 2 days. Yesterday he had his 2 month check up, his stats are:
Weight - 14 lbs 9 oz (90th Percentile)
Height - 24.5" (90th Percentile)
So he's my big boy! Dr said he is doing great :)
Here's my little man.... he is 2 months in this picture.
Not much else is new...
We watched Factory Girl last night... that was interesting... and different.
I'm going to *try* to keep this updated!! :)
